Description  

The Sunshiny Day Bag Pattern by The Birdhouse Patchwork Designs includes full detailed instructions for a stitchery and pieced bag with garden stitchery as the centerpiece of the bag, with the remainder dwon with easy piecing.  Finished size: 14" x 16" + straps.

Materials needed:

  • Light background fabric: 12" x 8"
  • Fat eighth of light colored print (straps + piecing)
  • Fat eighths of blue print (center strip + piecing)
  • Fat eighths of 6-8 colored prints (bag piecing)
  • Light small print fabric (lining): 20"
  • Thin wadding or pellon: 40"
  • DMC stranded embroidery thread: 221 224 3726 3012 646 3371 3041 801 680 3768 169
  • Tan, fine-point pigment marker or HB pencil
