Introducing Australian Designer Alison Ashbourne. who is a surface pattern designer living on a secluded green acre of bushland hidden away in the beautiful Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia.

She grew up surrounded by gorgeous fabrics, handmade clothes and quilts, crochet and woodworking created with love by my parents, grandparents and ancestors that will continue to be handed down through the generations.

From an early age, Alison understood the importance of being surrounded by beautiful things that are valued and bring meaning and joy to our lives.

Alsion is inspired by the work of William Morris, Henry Dearle and the beliefs of the Arts and Crafts movement. 

Spending her days living a quiet but intentional life, gathering inspiration, sketching and creating her designs.

She creates detailed, vibrant, flowing designs that represent the flora, fauna, and the diverse world around me, and believes that creating beautiful patterns is a perfect way for me to connect with others and share the values I hold dear.
