Robyn has been a crafter for longer than she can remember learning to sew, crochet and knit as a young girl sitting on her Oumas lap. Her life now revolves around fabric, quilting and using her hands to create beautiful and practical designs. Her designs reflect her respect for the slow stitching process, as well as her passion for all things Liberty.

A wealth of knowledge on all things Liberty, Robyn will not only bring along her quilts and talk through her design process - from finding inspiration to planning a quilt, colour palette/fabric selection to quilt construction - but also tell us all about the history and versatility of Liberty Fabric.
Betsy Bag Workshop Details Saturday 25th - 10am - 3pm. Afternoon tea included
Robyn will walk participants through making their own Liberty Scrappy Strips and then demonstrate how to use them to crochet a beautiful 'Betsy' bag. This is a fantastic way to recycle scraps and create something the perfect size for carrying your purse and phone - while also displaying your Love of Liberty Fabrics to the world! Pattern included in the class price.
Hand Stitching Workshop Details Sunday 26th - 10am - 3pm. Afternoon tea included
Robyn is a big believer in the meditative nature of hand stitching - join her for this hand stitching workshop with a focus on Suffolk Puffs (yo-yos) and English Paper Piecing. These beautiful traditional techniques are easy once you know the correct methods and a few handy modern tricks. Robyn will pass on her invaluable tips in regards to using Liberty, hand piecing and also selecting appropriate colours and prints in order to balance a quilt. This workshop should give participants the confidence, motivation and knowledge to go home and complete a quilt.Pattern included in the class price. Paper pieces to be purchased separately.
