Having been stitching for many years I have developed my own individual folk art style.

I find it so exciting to see an idea turn into a really good idea! Nothing like using some newspaper and scissors, some wonderfully gorgeous fabric and watching a magnificent quilt materialise.

My work is sometimes inspired by a piece of fabric, sometimes a beautiful piece of needlework, sometimes just an idea. Always with a little hard work, a piece of loveliness develops that brings joy not only to the maker but the viewer as well.

Having had three quilts over three years exhibited in Houston at the International Quilt Festival, I have been lucky enough to share my quilts with the world and have come to the conclusion that we are here for such a short time, with an abundance of beautiful fabrics at our finger tips, let’s use them to create beautiful works of art that we can be proud of.
